Rate Schedules
Effective January 1, 2023
General Single-Phase Service
Available to all year-round consumers for single-phase service where 50 kVA or less of transformer capacity is required. Service is subject to the Rules and Regulations of the Cooperative.
Facility Charge: $1.15 per day
Energy Charge (September-May)
1,500 kWh: $0.1188 per kWh
Excess 1,500 kWh: $0.1030 per kWh
Energy Charge (June-August)
1,500 kWh: $0.1306 per kWh
Excess 1,500 kWh: $0.1153 per kWh
Temporary General Single-Phase Service
Available to all customers for separately metered electric storage heating where electric service is also used for lighting and/or other purposes, and who agree to use the Cooperative's service for heating under the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth and other Rules and Regulations of the Cooperative.
Facility Charge: $5.00 per month for each additional meter
Energy Charge (September-May)
1,500 kWh: $0.1188 per kWh
Excess 1,500 kWh: $0.1030 per kWh
Energy Charge (June-August)
1,500 kWh: $0.1306 per kWh
Excess 1,500 kWh: $0.1153 per kWh
Interruptible Heating
Available to all customers for separately metered controlled electric heating systems where electric service is also used for lighting and/or other purposes, and who agree to use the Cooperative's service for heating under the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth and other Rules and Regulations of the Cooperative.
Facility Charge: $5.00 per month for each additional meter
Energy Charge (September-May): $0.0825 per kWh
Energy Charge (June-August): $0.1000 per kWh

Interruptible Storage Heating
Available to all customers for separately metered controlled electric heating systems where electric service is also used for lighting and/or other purposes, and who agree to use the Cooperative's service for heating under the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth and other Rules and Regulations of the Cooperative.
Facility Charge: $5.00 per month
Energy Charge (September-May): $0.0825 per kWh
Energy Charge (June-August): $0.1000 per kWh

Residential Electric Vehicle Charging
Available to all members who purchase an electric vehicle smart charger from Jackson Electric and have an A9 meter in place. The charger will be programmed to not allow charging during on-peak hours. The meter and receiver are integrated within the smart charger.
Facility Charge: $5.00 per month
Energy Charge: $0.075 per kWh

Facility Charge
The facility charge is a monthly fee that is collected to cover all non-energy related costs. Included in this charge is the equipment and material needed to build and maintain power lines and substations and other equipment needed to ensure the availability of power. All members pay the basic facility charge for each electric account each month, regardless of the energy used, sharing the cost of the electric system.
Energy Charge
The energy charge is the actual amount of electricity used.
Power Cost Adjustment (PCA)
A PCA will be added to your monthly bill either as a credit or charge depending on the wholesale power cost. The PCA allows Jackson Electric to keep the monthly energy rates consistent as the wholesale power costs varies monthly.
