Jackson Electric will award up to ten (10) regular $1,000 scholarships and one (1) additional $1,000 scholarship to a student pursuing an energy-related career. Scholarships are available for qualified students who demonstrate a desire to continue their post-secondary education at either a technical college or university.
QUALIFICATIONS TO APPLY:
Student must be a child (or under legal guardianship) of an active member (primary residence) of Jackson Electric and reside in the same household.
Application deadline is March 16, 2026, no later than 4:30 p.m. No late applications will be accepted.

HOW A WINNER IS SELECTED:
- Scholarship award will be based on merit (combination of academics, extra-curricular activities, and community service) and financial need.
HOW PAYMENT IS AWARDED:
- AFTER the student submits post-secondary grade transcripts for 50 percent of the school year.
- AFTER proof of enrollment and paid tuition for the second half of the program/school year.
HOW PAYMENT IS RECEIVED:
- A two-party check will be issued to the student and the school.
- Student will have one year from date of selection notice to claim the scholarship award.
